Hey guys, what's up ? I was checking out your dates and noticed your upcoming weekend at The Union Station. I thought I'd Warn you to be EXTRA sure you have a SIGNED contract. These guys do not have a lot of integrety and will burn you in a minute. They have had bad dealings repeatedly with most local bands. We were warned and didn't listen. They cost us a lot of cash. You guys are a top notch great band and do not deserve the kind of treatment that we experienced at this venue. So take it for what it's worth and make Gene Simmons proud !! TNT

Hey guys, bummer about Guitar Center....well their loss.... You guys are more than welcome to head to the "Great White North" (Mounument/Palmer Lake) to the newest music store in the area. "Rock City Music" is scheduled to be opening up (cross your fingers) in early December. I can't let too many cats out of the bag yet....but...."Rock City Music" is gonna set things right for those of us who have been treated wrong for too long by the chain stores. "Rock City Music" is owned and operated by real people with integrity who are musicians too! What a concept huh? I'll keep ya posted on the Opening date......

All local Colorado Springs bands beware! Distant Warning won a $150 gift certificate from Guitar Center last year for placing second in the Battle of the Bands 2003. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it until just recently. I tried to redeem it last night, but Guitar Center would not honor it. Their reasons were that it was too old, and the issuing manager no longer worked there, so it was invalid. That's total bullshit. There's no expiration date on it, and someone paid for it or else they wouldn't have issued it. Distant Warning has spent thousands of dollars at Guitar Center over the past year, but no more. We are no longer refering our students there either. We have no beef with our many friends who work there. We hope that someday you find employment with a company with better business ethics. Just something to think about if your band ever enters an event sponsored by Guitar Center. It's not the money, it's the principle of the whole thing. We hope you join us and consider getting your gear elsewhere. If you've been burned by Guitar Center too, we'd love to hear from you. Leave your comments, good or bad, in the guestbook. I've seens a lot of Springs bands and you guys are the best ones yet. I've seen hundreds of Colorado acts and most of them put out a cd or two ever 5 or 10 years like Panzer.
